Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, orange, lemon, a hint of pine and mixed light stone fruit. Flavor is pale malt with mild caramel, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, mild pine and faint mixed tropical fruit. Citrus rind and light pine finish; moderately bitter. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A laid back version of their Power Horse IPA; similar citrus character with light pine; perhaps a little more light fruit notes. Not as hop bittered as the bigger IPA, which I suspected from the description, but the finish has a solid alpha bitterness appropriate for a non-hazy IPA. This appears to be their flagship IPA and is a solid one.
