A beautiful dark amber color, named after a corner at the iconic Monza race circuit in Italy, this beer is rich with bread, toast, and caramel flavors that are supported by spicy, citrus, and floral notes from Loral and Willamette hops.

Got in the NBS BIF from snaotheus. 16 ounce can into IPA glass, no can dating. Pours crystal clear deep ruby red, light copper/brown color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy light khaki head with amazing retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread/crust, toast, nuttiness; light roast, molasses, dark fruit, pear, apple, citrus peel/rind, wood, pepper, pine, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-medium pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body. Creamy/bready malts, some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light resins and lingering bitter dryness, with no astringency. Very smooth/soft, spot on American style. Very clean and rich malt showcase, with balancing Loral and Willamette hop character. Tastes like a lot of Munich malt, love the darker melanoidin complexity, and it isn't overdone. Loved it.
