Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: medium-light gold hue with a dash of haze and a light effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy ivory foam; it looks good!
Smell: slightly sweet, slightly grainy aroma, with a bit of a crackery character to it. There's also this hint of something kind of corn-ey as well; not like a creamed-corn adjunct type of an aroma, but still, it detracts a little for me.
Taste: not too different from the aroma: grainy, crackery, a little sweet. That same very slight corn character is here, too, but somehow it's low enough in the mix to just be part of that "grainy" spectrum. Hops have just a little bit of bite and the bitterness is balanced.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and a pretty good creaminess for the relatively-light body.
Overall: a tasty and drinkable beer! Not without its flaws, but definitely still good.
