Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: rich dark brown hue with a finger of frothy tan foam atop. Pretty!
Smell: lightly roasty and a little bit sweet, with a yeasty character that comes across to me as "creamy", whatever that means in the context of aroma. I think it's nice.
Taste: roastier than the aroma, followed up by a nice caramel character. There's just a bit of bitterness to the malt here, which I think is appropriate. It's a little bit sweeter than I might prefer, but still not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a very nice and drinkable schwarzbier. Prost!
