Helles is the German word for ‘light’ which refers to the color of the beer alone, it is not light in flavor! Our flagship lager has flavor notes of fresh baked bread, spicy noble hops, with a crisp and clean finish.

The white can is much better than the silver can.

Huge, rocky, white head from a slow steady pour. Aroma of fresh biscuits and spicy hops. Nicely balanced flavors that are neither too bitter nor too sweet. The bready malts provide the background for Noble hops to draw on their strength. Fruitiness is minimal. Medium-to-light bodied mouthfeel with good carbonation. Been getting quite a few decent selections from Guilford since they showed up at my local store.
