Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 3/8/24.
Appearance: medium golden hue with just a dash of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: lightly sweet malt with a really nice aroma of kinda earthy, kinda lemony, kinda fruity hops. Reminds me of, like, a super crisp pale ale or something. I like it.
Taste: malt is just a little sweet, but also has an element of drier graininess to it. Hops are almost juicy with lemon and a sort of bright grassiness. This might be one of the best executions of a hoppy lager that I’ve had.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: super crisp, refreshing, drinkable, and flavorful, especially for a sub-5% beer. The can calls this a “crushable lager”, and I couldn’t agree more.
