Appearance - From the tap, the beer poured a brownish black color with a small tan head.
Smell - The overlying nose was sweet. Coffee and spice was noted.
Taste - Coffee and cinnamon came to the front with the sweet milk stout backbone. The piloncillo sugar, which was new to me, might be the source of tge strange slightly medicinal flavor. The combination of adjuncts came together well.
Mouthfeel - Smooth would describe the low carbonated milk stout.
Overall - The stout was not a home run, but very enjoyable.
