Found this recently at Joe Canal's in Woodbridge, as this was available via a single can. Haven't had much from Twin Lights but if they had a flagship beer, this would be a good candidate for that position! This wasn't anything outstanding in particular, but it checked off all of the right boxes and was easy to drink as it was a decent take on an American IPA from start to finish.
Not surprisingly, this had a hazy, goldenrod hue to it with plenty of head to top it off, the lacing left behind was quite layered and extensive as the foam never fully went away. Lots of peach, apricot, pine, and oats in the nose as the taste was just as dank, natural, and full of turbid juice that had some gooseberry and swamp water underneath everything. Nicely carbonated and bitter, there was enough to like here as this improved quite a bit as it fully warmed up. Only a bit of sediment was left at the bottom, as I had to give this a swirl right before finishing it off.
The alcohol was spot on as the subtle warming that I felt was on par with everything else going on here. This had a nice stickiness on the palate and in the back some star and jack fruit stuck around on the nose once I finished this off. Dated 8/20 with "COMMUNITY INSPIRED" written above it, this didn't have any rough edges to it as the peach pith and heavy berry juice were as edgy as this beer got. As a smooth sipper, this fit the bill nicely as I'd reach for it again - hopefully fresher the second time around!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
