Pours a crystal-clear, deep copper hue topped with multiple fingers of rich, off-white foam; good head retention leaves a few spotty, paper-thin islands of cap, modest, frothy collar, and a vast array of chunky, webby lacing encircling the walls of the glass.
Aromas of wispy lager yeast into waves of taut minerality open, with notes of subdued bread crusts leading to hints of toasted malt and slight caramel residuals lingering.
Taste offers brown toast and taut minerality upfront, with a caramel underscore superseding flaky malt subtext past the mid-palate as yeasty esters flow and linger across the profile.
Mouthfeel features a light body and moderate-full carbonation; cleanliness throughout develops subliminal roast underlying into the back end while maintaining an even texturing through the finish.
Freshly-toned and overarchingly clean, a solid, semi-sweet Märzen with few frills.
