Mount Hope Lager

We wanted to create a beer that was simple but still really interesting and unique. This crisp lager pairs with clam bakes, cookouts, beaches and summer evenings. At 4.6%, subtle malt notes of sweet bread and honey dominate, with complimentary floral and fresh cut lemon notes from multiple additions of Saphir and Opal hops. We used Pilsner and Vienna malts alongside a small amount of flaked rice to create a silky mouthfeel that finishes crisp and clean. Mount Hope Lager pours a crystal clear pale straw color with a creamy dense white foam. This lager celebrates the bridge that gets us back and forth from our two taprooms in Bristol and Newport, Rhode Island.
