On tap at The Brass Tap, Cedar Falls, IA. Served in a snifter. Reddish-brown in color, with a ruby highlight and a white finger of head that stuck around for a while. Malt-forward aromas and flavors, with notes of roasted malts, dark bread, caramel, and dried fruit. Good carbonation, good bitterness, and medium bodied, with a hint of malty goodness lingering on the finish. Excellent beer, very tasty and drinkable, and a good pairing with spicy food.

This one is super tasty. And it has Iowa malted Munich malt from Miller Malting! So solid with no off notes. Very bready malt with such a velvety finish. Not too much caramel in the finish, just a hint. Only thing that would improve it is head retention!
