Brewed in the style if a traditional Extra Special Bitter, we use English barley and NYS grown hops in this beer. A malty, medium bodied mouthfeel balances nicely with the earthy hops flavors and aromas.

New one at Empire? It had a delicate white head with not too much lace and a copper body with little to no carbonation. It had a nice alcohol aroma, but I thought it was a little lacking in the smell department. The taste was refreshing with that classic bitter taste, smooth with a sweet twang of bitter hops and just a bit of citrus flavoring. Creamy, tap like mouthfeel for a bitter. Refreshing and crisp. I would love to go down there every day and have a pint of bitter if I could.
