Poured from a 500 ML bomber into a pint glass.
Appearance - Amber, thin layer (less than 1 cm) of head dissipates quickly. Faint lacing remains on glass as consumed.
Aroma - Hops and pine.
Mouthfeel - Medium body with nice carbonation. Solid!
Taste - A fair amount of hops but also a nice freshness to start. Definitely a hint of citrus. Grapefruit perhaps? A small bit of sweetness in the middle. Bitterness from the hops linger in the aftertaste.
Overall - A very tasty take on APA although the appearance leaves something to be desired. One of the better NZ beers I've tasted.
