I’ve had several beers by Monteith’s and arriving g at their brewery hall found a larger selection. They insist on jamming every beer full of malt including each IPA I’ve had. This seems to be an attempt at a west coast imperial but falls short unfortunately. Looks amberish with decent lavish g and minimal haze from filtering. Smells like a hop bomb IPA and is a new sensation for me as is the taste. Their is some hopping in their but nothing like I’d expect for a “double hop”. Their is a piney/resinous backbone to it which is its saving grace IMO. Feels balanced and might be the best aspect of the beer. For a country that is dumping hops into the USA I’d suggest they try using some of them for themselves lol

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
