Format: standard 330mL brown bottle with a simple but stylish label.

Appearance: pours out an amber-gold colour with fine carbonation. A fantastically thick white head with good staying power, reasonable lacing also. Looks good.

Aroma: crisp and clean grains and some grass hops. Refreshing.

Taste: again some sweet grains and a touch of malt with the hops dying away. A bit too light for my likes.

Aftertaste: still a touch sweet, but mostly drops away to nothing. Not bad, but not great.

Mouth feel: light in feel with a moderate carbonation.

Overall: a very light ale, tending towards a lager or pilsner in feel and taste. Once again an average beer from Monteith's for AU$60 a case of 24 x 330mL. I'll leave it out.

Mostly clear golden colour with a creamy, smooth and long lasting white head. Some lacing. Not bad.

Light, grainy malt with a touch of earthiness. Some sulphur. Nothing special.

Sweetish malt with not a lot really backing it up. The flavour has a touch of metallic hop to it. Disappointing.

Medium-light body with moderately-high carbonation. Fine for style.

This is a little disappointing. Sure, it's easy to drink but that's due to a lack of any substance. The metallic hop character is also not that nice.
