Belgian Saison…This is a classic must-try beer style steeped in history. The yeast we use adds light spice and fruit notes, and it measures in at 6.4% ABV / 19 IBU.

Had Nouveau Jour at the Tanasi Tap Room on draft into clear plastic pint tumbler.
Pours medium-gold with clarity and 1/2-finger near-white head, which eventually dissipates to nothing, but leaves a little lace. Very nice aroma of Belgian yeast spices, soon joined by some sharp stone fruits. A little carbonation to start immediately delivers Belgian yeast spices, then big, nice sharp and sweet stone fruits, leading into a dry, slightly bitter finish.
Deep gold for a saison, and wonderfully spicy and fruity.
