32oz crowler given to me by Charlie, CL's brewer, a couple nights before CL closed forever, at the beginning of March. Hope Charlie is doing well back in California.
Poured a glass, this was a murky light golden amber color, with a good sized off-white head. Lots of creamy lace.
Nice citrusy hop nose .
Sweeter in the taste than the nose indicated. Sweetness is fruity, somewhere between tropical fruit and honeydew melon. Light, pithy bitterness on the back end.
Medium bodied, slightly creamy mouth feel.
Really enjoyed this, my last beer from a local brewery I really liked and was sad to see close.
