A 500ml bottle, with a best before date of November 2025. Poured into an Alvinne teku glass.

Appearance: A hazy orange red rusty colour with a half finger beige head that had decent retention and left some nice lacing.

Aroma: Tart, sweet, cherry, cherry pip, grape skin, acetone, with hints of raspberry yoghurt.

Taste: Sour, tart, cherry, cherry pie, strawberries, wood, with notes of vinegar.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Overall: Nice cherry flavours that are well balanced. I can’t help but wonder what this tasted like fresh.

Received as a present form my distributor. Expected something special and was not disappointed. Head disappeared quickly and the aroma was a bit weak.
Color was not the usual Kriek pink but the flavor was tops. Aftertaste lingered on my mouth for hours afterward - a real pleasure. Loved the sourness, the funk and the flavours.

First!

L: It's gorgeous. Hazy strawberry pink hue with a thin white head settled to a ring.

S: It smells sweet, with a maybe a hint of acidity, but more sweet. It's interesting because it's not cherries I get from this, but it's strawberries.

T: Wow, I thought this was going to be sweeter from the nose, but there's actually quite a bit of acidity to balance it out. Sweet to sour, rich strawberries and a hint of oak. Sounds simple but the flavors were beautiful.

F: Described a bit here in the taste, sweet and sour, with sour finishing out. Light and effervescent.

O: This was a huge surprise and blew me away. If it was completely dry with some funk and more wood, it would be a perfect beer.
