Morpheus Saison is a thirst-quenching Belgian Saison that was traditionally brewed in the Hainaut area for local farm workers. Originally, the Saison style beers had probably a light sour touch.

You've got the Morpheus characteristics alright but without any sourness in this amber Saison.
Very classical in the style. It remains balanced and with a certain estery complexity

Pours a clouded, amber colored beer with a stable, medium sized head.
Smell is of matured hops and spicy, peppery yeast, together with a note of bread dough.
Has a very vivid, mineralic mouthfeel, producing a prominent effervescence.
Tastes of funky, tart yeast with a light, peppery peak to it among dried leafes and mellow bread dough. Turns even spicier then, together with a mineralic carbonation burst, balanced by the prominent yeast in this. Finishes with a light layer of caramel, dry hops and soft, soothing yeast, creating a longer going, slightly bitter aftertaste.
This is pretty great, with an intriguing depth to it, due to Alvinne‘s house yeast, while the beer remains utmost crushable at the same time.

Day 17 of the 2018 advent calendar.
It was nice to read the other reviews and have a warning that this bottle might go volcanic, because mine certainly did.
Luckily it was already in the sink.
The beer that was salvaged was pretty decent; it's in my top ten for the calendar.
Funky yeast and typical saison flavors.

330ml bottle (@6% ABV) - day 17 of the 2018 Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Yay, our first gusher of the year!
After a hasty clean-up, this beer eventually pours a hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with a teeming tower of puffy, finely foamy, and creamy bone-white head, which leaves some stellar layered bands of frilly lace around the glass as it slowly sinks away.
It smells of lightly roasted cereal malt, funky yeast, wet crackers, a muddled stone fruitiness, and subtle earthy, musty, and floral hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, toasted white bread, indistinct domestic citrus peel, a touch of sour yeastiness, ephemeral earthy spice, and more well-understated musty, herbal, and deal floral noble hoppiness.
The carbonation is obviously over the top in its geyser-spawning frothiness, the body an adequate middleweight, and generally smooth, but for a wee sourness perhaps nipping at my palate here. It finishes trending dry, the toasted malt character most prevalent.
Overall - this comes across as sort of a weird bird for the style, with the added sour brew having more than a minor effect on the whole. In fact, if you didn't tell me that it was a Saison, I probably would have pegged it for something else, like a Bière de Garde.
