Sour and funky with a big note of barrel juice. Dark fruits on the palate too. I had this on draught at Max's 2012 Belgian beer fest and gave it a big A+. One of the first sours I'd ever had and it really impressed.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a thin collar of beige bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of sour fruits and oak are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has flavors of dark fruits along with lots of oak and hints of malts and vinegar.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and is very tart with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: If you like tartness, this is a really nice beer to sip. I found it to be a lot more drinkable compared to the regular Cuvée Freddy.
