Amber Lager featuring the freshest crop of 2021 CZ Saaz hops for a smooth, citrusy kick to compliment the rich caramel, malt forward body. We add a small dose of Chocolate Rye malt to work in harmony with the hops and help balance the sweetness.

Semi-opaque amber brown body with a beige head and mild lacing. Heavily toasted caramel malt, earthy hops, and rye in the nose. Taste starts the same, but then the rye and hops create a strong bitterness for the last third of the sip with some orange zest. Feel is malty and warm, moderately crisp, but thins out through the sip

Released May 2022; drank 6/19/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through amber appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big khaki head; thick, frothy lace.
Fresh bread, mild caramel & faint orange peel.
Medium mouthfeel.
Dry biscuit, caramel & mild orange peel flavors (the description on the can NAILS it).
Balanced; substantial but drinkable. I like this a lot!

I can't remember ever having a beer from a brewery during its first month of releasing brews.
Apparently Niteglow is successful because its website says all five of its brews are Sold Out.
So maybe they can get Whiner (either their contract brewer or partner) to crank up the kettles again to meet demand.
Anyhow they do it, I give Niteglow some pretty good Overall Hugs to keep them growing.
MO1 was stylized as a Vienna because it seems more year-round... but it has many qualities of a Marzen also.
MO1 Looks pretty; partly in a pils and partly a polka. Smells are mostly sweet malt, but my backnose detects some hops. Balanced like the Vienna and the Marzen with modest hops and, in MO1's case, some rye controlling the malts.
I would have this again if I can find it.
