Note : Full name is Cruiser Hummingbird Blonde Lager. However, it has some grapefruit flavour added, hence my listing as a fruit/vegetable beer.
Appearance - 4.0
Pours two fingers of dense white foam head that leaves sticky lace over a clear, pale, straw coloured body - similar colour to many a white wine.
Smell - 1.0
Pretty unappealing, stale and husky with a faintly sweet lollyish character
Taste - 2.0
Grapefruit flavour (not real juice) is actually a positive for this beer, perking up what would otherwise be a very dull lager. Sweet, but not sickly like many of the new "radler" style beers. Almost zero malt or hop character (or bitterness), just a dry husky character and slightly tart in the finish.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Fine, champage-like carbonation, light bodied, slightly puckering.
Overall - 2.5
Definitely not a beer I would go back to, but not hard to drink by any measure. I won't say this is a "beer for girls", because that is an insult to serious female beer drinkers. This is a beer made for people who don't really like beer. I've had worse.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
