I had this beer on-cask in a 500mL pint glass at the Deschutes Portland pub. I'm pretty sure this was brewed at the pub.
Appearance: rich brown hue with lots of haze and a thick finger of creamy ivory foam. There's a nice lace left on the glass; a rather attractive beer!
Smell: lightly malty aroma with a little bit of a caramel character and a light alcohol fruitiness. A bit mild, but well-balanced and pleasant.
Taste: a fruity maltiness is up front; it's sweet with a rich, though not strong, flavor. It's smooth and delightful.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a light cask-style carbonation. Not super creamy, but smooth and enjoyable.
Overall: a tasty beer; I feel like I could quaff a fair bit of this.
