On tap at Deschutes Brewery Pub in Portland OR.
Appearance : Copper amber colored body, 80% opaque. A milky head tops the body and leaves lace behind.
Smell : Light malt aromas, faint sugar, caramel sweetness.
Taste : A bit harsh on the hop, some onion going on followed by scathed and burnt caramel malts. More onion on the finish.
Feel : Moderate feel, kinda light, medium bodied.
Overall : I wasn't too impressed with this one. Too much onion flavor and the malts were unevenly roasted with both burnt and baked flavors.
