Draft at Portland taproom. Near black pour, small soft head, tons of lacing. Light roasty, smoky aroma. Taste adds some nuttiness, more roast grains. Slippery. Lingering bitterness.

Pours a cloudy, brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hops, astringency, and a hint of wheat. Fits the style of a Baltic Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight sweet malt, slight alcohol, roasted malt, hops, astringency, hint of dark citrus, yeast, and caramel malt. Overall, weak appearance and aroma, but good feel, body, and blend.

On tap at the Portland brewhouse.
A: Dark brown with a nice tan one finger head that held on for dear life. Nice thick lacing.
S: Chocolate malts, cocoa, dark chocolate.
T: Sweet and malty with chocolate at the helm.
M: Medium with medium, chewy carbonation.
O: Glad I got to try this limited edition. Hope they make more of it.
