Pours a medium amber with one finger of lingering white head.
The aroma is the typical citrus hop and mild caramel malt of regular Mirror Pond, but rounded out slightly and with a distinct boozy, vinous element overlaying it.
The usual moderate citrus hops of the beer are also somewhat subdued in the flavor, taking a backseat to the caramel malt and the permeating vinous, syrupy, boozey elements of the port.
Overall, an odd selection for port-barrel aging IMo (too weak and/or too pale). A pleasant experiment, but I'd say that the port elements in a beer this small negatively impacts the drinkability...
