Pours a murky brown with a finger of khaki head. Head is fizzy and doesn't retain long, leaving no lacing behind. Aroma smells alive. It has biscuit, earth, and bread malts over salt, algae, plum, dark fruit, and crisp, tart green apples. Flavor profile has a distinct and strong sour twist to it. Biscuit, earth, and bread malts give a foundation for a rainbow of sour notes. Salt water brine, green apples, plum, pear, and orange zest develop a condensed, but strong flavor profile. The salt water brine aroma and flavor profile fades as the beer warms a little. Mouth feel is fizzy, with a medium thickness. Overall, it tastes and smells a bit scatterbrained. The earthy, bready malts layered underneath the array of sour notes are a unique, but polarizing picture.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 22oz bottle.
