Look: Light yellow and hazy—clearly hazy IPA vibes.

Smell: Citrus-forward, mostly orange, really bright and inviting.

Taste: Smooth and easy-drinking, with a touch of sweetness, plenty of citrus, and just enough bitterness to keep it interesting.

Feel: Medium-bodied, refreshing, with a nice citrus aroma and a lingering, gentle bitterness.

Overall: Quite drinkable. Feels like Deschutes Brewery may have re-released this with some new marketing—I see it was retired, but my can is packaged October 2025, I noticed it's just outside its optimal drinking window, but it held up well for a hazy

Had this beer on tap at the 2018 OBF. Don't really remember anything about this particular beer other than I gave it a good rating and it is a Deschutes beer, which are usually very good. 50 IBUs

Picked up a 16 oz mason jar draft from the Craft Beer Quick Stop on 9-19-18 for $2.00. Consumed on 9-21-18.

Beer poured a slightly clouded orange with a smallish white head that has some okay hang time.

Nose was a moderate combination of oranges and mango.

Taste follows the nose, a nice blend of orange and mango over a moderate malt base. Finish was more balanced with trace bitterness.

Mouthfeel was lacking carbonation and freshness but was okay from a juiciness perspective.

Overall not a bad beer, almost a beginner beer for those branching out to APAs and IPAs. Does not seem to meet the NEIPA style guide for turbidness. Not overly bitter like other Deschutes IPAs. I think this is something Da Boss can drink which would classify it as a strong APA.

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at Emil's Tavern on August 16, 2018. Mildly hazy with five hop varieties brewed exclusively at the Portland Public House. Notes of tropical fruit. Finishes with a subtle bitterness.

Had on tap. This one seems confused. It wants to be a hazy, but didn't bring enough fruit punch to the party. Has nice hop profile, but isn't as spicey as a normal ipa. The result is a beer caught in between, satisfying neither the ipa purists or the hazyites. Being neither, I found it be an ok ipa with some fruit added, watering down the flavor a bit, however the smell is a nice bouquet of red fruits and hops
