Pours a thin layer of light brown head over a cloudy rust colored liquid.
Smells American hopped with oranges and tangerine. Touch of chocolate maltiness.
Tastes tangerine and orange hop flavor. Perhaps Summit and Simcoe hops. Touch of butter that is think is not diacetyl, but is Amarillo hops instead. Hop flavor is strong, to the point of almost piercing as a medicinal taste. Touch piney. Hop bitter is not as strong as I would expect for the style, but the malt is stronger than I was expecting, so the malt could be hiding the bitterness. What bitterness that is present is clean of rough grassy cohumulone character. Some alcohol in the end, which cooperates with the hop bitter and md-strong carbonation to dry the palette.
Md body and fairly drinkable.
