12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of lavender and tart marioberries. Lavender taste reminded me of soap or lotion which made it odd to drink.

Can from ABV.

A bright glowing reddish purple with a pink head that falls off leaving no lacing, this looks decent. The nose is loaded with lavender, fresh and fragrant and unfortunately, so damn perfume-like that it makes me think of hand soap. The expression is clean and spot on, it's just overpowering. Along with this is a mild fruity, berry note. Really, though, this reminds me of Trader Joe's lavender soap. On the palate, this is mildly tart, lactic and mildly yogurt like, with plenty of lavender. A berry spritzer like flavor, crisp, clean, scrubbing, effervescent and lightly mineral-like, follows. Drying, watery with essential lavender oils. Decent.

Poured from 12oz can into a tulip. Canned on 4/27/19.

Appearance: rich orange-pink hue with a bit of haze and a thin layer of ivory-pink foam atop. The berries add a definitely interesting hue to this one.

Smell: lightly sweet with plenty of lavender. Not much sourness comes through in the smell, so the overall aroma is floral and, well, soapy. But in a good way I guess?

Taste: berry sweetness; mild-to-moderate sourness; a certain jamminess; and lavender, lavender, lavender. This beer is interesting, but the huge lavender complement makes it seem more like a bath product than a beer. That said, I like it, despite its weirdness.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: so, I have a tendency to like weird things, and so I like this beer. But I like it just the way I'm having it -- one can. I'm glad I've tried it, but I see no need to seek out more.
