Blurb from Deschutes about this brew "3 types of crystal malt, a whole lot of our locally malted 2-row barley, and one beautiful hop (Brewers' Gold) give this beer the gentle persuasion that you're looking for."

Light amber orange with puny head. Hazy.

Weak purfume sweetness aroma. Hops and malt are muted.

Low carbonation across the tounge and again a fairly low hop and malt profile. Perfectly drinkable, with floral hoppiness. A bit one-dimensional in it's profile, with a light to medium mouthfeel.

It's called a strong pale, but i categorized it as just an APA. It's higher abv than their mirror pond, sure...but at 6%, and with its mild flavors, it's just not a strong ale by a mile.
