2017 brew from a bottle. Pours a nice hazy fold with an attractive white head with good retention. Smells of oak and overripe apricot.

Love the taste, but it vanishes quickly after each sip. Definitely getting oak, fermented apricot, and a good dose of tart lemon. Maybe a hint of strawberry in passing, but it's not overly dominant at the least.

A nice wild ale. Sour enough to keep it refreshing and makes me want to keep sipping and a dangerously high rate. Grab it if you see it

2018 bottle, picked up by my in laws when they were at the brewery, a stronger wild ale done with apricots and strawberries, well mature now, and very interesting, although quite a lot more sour than i really want to drink, i wonder if it was always this way. it smells a little like fruit or wine vinegar, and has a certain sharpness thats clean for being wild, more bacterial and tight than wild and funky and weird, which isnt a bad thing, just that i have known these guys to be capable of both. its way past mouthwatering, some light sweetness from the malt and the strawberries seem to be the only counterpoint to the high acid. some light oak, white wine, generic stone fruit, and hefty malted wheat also all seem to be present. the flavor is good, but it only really lasts a second or two before the sourness kind of trumps everything, but i like what i taste while i have it, more strawberry pushing through than the apricot to me, but both are present, some clean lemon character too, way less funky than i was hoping for, which i guess is a casualty of all the acid. cut flowers, green apples, and earthy wheat are also here, but starting about midway through its just all sourness, it hurt my teeth and any more than a third of this little bottle or so and it would but tough on the guts too. perhaps this had a little more balance when it was newer, still a cool project, but at a level of acidity that doesnt really appeal to me. fuller feeling even with that, which i like, and nice mix of flavors overall. perhaps not cellaring super well...
