Hopicide! Death by hops!
I'd consider this a double IPA easily at 8% and with 94ibu. Had a pour of it into a snifter at the public house.
A thick looking elixir as i swirled it around my snifter. Not much a head, just a lacing when it arrived at my table. Didn't look to carbonated. Served a bit cool for the style, but otherwise a magnificant specimen.
Aroma is oily and pungent hops and some fusals. Thick overripe orange, caramel, and a blast of citrus and pine coming from cascade and centennial.
A good thick chewy taste. The malt is ramped up in this one, but the 94ibu's of pur hop goodness easily overpower. Great lingering bitter and chewy tooth-coating goodness.
