On-Tap @ the Portland Brew Pub poured into a Imperial Pint glass.
Pours a muddy deep brown in color with an inch of tan bubbly head that dissolves into a ring around the glass. Aroma is light in banana and clove with a bready yeast and a touch of toasted malt. Flavor is sweet caramel malts, wheat and citrus zest. Its a light-medium bodied beer that is fairly lively. Definitely a nice beer and drinkable but not to the standard of an Aventinus but then again that is on another realm on most levels.
