60 IBUs from an 'experimental' hop variety.
Appearance is hazy pale orange with a small, creamy off-white head leaving scattered lace.
Smell is candied apricots, some floral and citrus hop notes, not overly assertive.
Taste is grainy, sweet, tropical fruits. Not overly bitter or even hop flavored, really reminded me of a British Pale, with hints of a Belgian perhaps.
Mouthfeel is a bit thick, dry, with somewhat biting carbonation.
Drinkability is average - this just didn't do it for me. Interesting fruitiness, but not light enough body to go in that Belgian direction, and the hops were way too mild for them to call this an IPA in PDX.
