Poured from 500mL bottle into my BeerAdvocate teku. Bottled 5/20/21.
Appearance: nice golden-amber hue with a finger of fizzy ivory foam that dissipates quite quickly. I like the color a lot, though!
Smell: lightly sweet and tart; the peach is not overdone at all, but there's a delightful fruitiness here. Great!
Taste: quite tart indeed with a good sweetness and plenty of peach flavor toward the end. I don't think I've ever had a peach sour before, and I'm really liking this.
Mouthfeel: lightly body with a good carbonation and a nice, if evanescent. creaminess.
Overall: super tart and refreshing; I like the peach character and, though a slow sipper because of the tartness, is nevertheless refreshing and delightful!

Bottled on 5/20/2021. Received from @snaotheus in the NBS BIF #14. Poured into a Lambic glass. It pours a slightly hazy, burnt orange color with a thin, ecru head that fizzled away almost immediately. There's lots of peach on the nose along with berry, vinegar, and funky yeast. It's sour for sure but tempered by sweet, ripe peach and berry with an oaky, crackery malt base beneath. It finishes with a dose of spicy bitterness. As the ale breathes in the glass it settles and the fruit becomes even more pronounced. The peach and berry have a syrupy feel but its balanced by the lively carbonation and acidity. It doesn't feel like 10.4% ABV. Overall, while I don't drink this style often, The Dissident - Peach is highly flavorful and overs a pleasing balance of sweet and sour.
