Oregon Brewer's Guild collab with Crosby farms Strata.
A clear light copper with a dense off-white head with excellent retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is old school west coast pale ale, a blend or caramel malt, a little toast and a moderate hop character. A touch soapy, there's citrus, candied orange peel and some melon. A touch soapy too. Soapier and with a touch of fatty flavor on the palate, there's lots of overripe fruit - melon, citrus, pineapple. This is along with a blend of caramel and light malt that lends a moderate sweetness to the palate. Mildly bitter on the finish with lingering overripe fruit and mild bitterness. Strange one.
