Drank on tap in the Portland pub.
a-Poured a nice reddish color with a very nice retaining head.
s-Had a combination of a hopped and a sweet citrus smell.
t-Sweet, citrus, and a hint of malt at first, followed by a dulled hop twist at the end of the drink.
m/d-Pretty balanced. The hop bitterness was really tamed in the cask and leaves a medium to strong feel in the mouth. This was enjoyable, but just a little better than average.

Deschutes Alma NW Pale, 5.8abv, 50IBU.
A Amber, clear, thick creamy head, great lacing. 4
S Floral hop aroma, some malt. Citrusy, peppery. 4
T Typical pale ale flavor, but crisp, fresh and bright. Of the two casks available on my visit (Fresh Squeezed IPA being the other), this was the easiest to drink. 4.5
M Medium to heavy body, good CO2, appropriate for a cask ale. Felt thick on the tongue. 4.5
D Outstanding beer on cask. Wish I had more time for this one. 4.5
