On tap at Deschutes pub in Portland the day of the Dissident release..Soured version of the Black Butte.
looks similar to black butte, brown, but with low carbonation.
chocolate and sour cherries, an additional sourness beyond the cherries, a little bit of funk.
The flavor is very nice, pretty dry with the overall tartness and the sour cherries. The chocolate presence is an excellent bittersweet component to the cherries.
Very solid beer, just part of an excellent draught selection at the Portland pub last weekend. Definitely would have this beer again.
