Pours a nice golden color with a medium head. It has a smooth creamy medium body with some lacing. Aroma is citrus hops. Taste is a good malt with a not too bitter hop that lingers. If you like a good hop flavor without too much bitterness this is the beer. BOD 3/14/23. Rated 4-24-2023.

Pours slightly cloudy bright golden yellow, white head, minimal lacing. Aroma is faint, citrus and pine. Flavor follows the nose, a bit sweet, not a lot of hop bite in the end. Feel is light and well carbonated. Overall, just decent.

not a ton of new beers from deschutes of late so i was excited to see this one. this is easygoing, almost pale ale-esque, with a lighter body and not a ton of grain to it, which is just fine, especially in warm summer weather. it has a modern hop complexion and hits pretty fresh, they call out an experimental yeast, but its tough to place that, seems just sort of juicy and current without really being high thiol or anything too exotic on the ferment. lightly unfiltered looking but not heavy, deeper than blonde, good carbonation, average white head from the tap but with good lace and retention. it smells like lemons and tangerines, very citrus forward to me, familiar a little bit at first, but with some winey character in the mix as well as some modest bitterness, dry cereal and honey granola character from the malt, and light weedy sativa fruitiness through it as well, not crazy pungent but more distinctive there for a flash. the flavor has some tropical character too, a little generic again and now a little sweeter than it smells, papaya and candied orange, cantaloupe and french melon, slight muskiness, more familiar west coast dankness and some bitterness at the end, nice flow from front to back, lighter bodied but with a lot of flavor, fine carbonation, less exciting than it could be on the ferment, id love to know more about this experimental strain, but here it just seems to play well with the hops. curious to try this one from a can or bottle soon...

Astringent, piney, and grapefruity, this is a somewhat typical west coast IPA but at a slightly lower ABV than usual, making it a bit lighter. However, I also got an odd metallic aftertaste, and like someone else here, I feel there are better such beers from Deschutes.

Pours slightly hazy, caution light yellow in color with one inch head. Taste is grapefruit and pine. Medium body and carbonation, bitter. Makes for a solid, above average ipa. I prefer other ipas from Deschutes though.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of toasted caramel, orange, grapefruit and pine notes. Sweet citrusy taste with roasted caramel and a sharp, piney bitterness.

Chill-hazed gold with a giant, fluffy off-white head. The nose if fairly bright, balanced, and expressive with some old school piney/resin hops as well as some fruity notes and a sweeter biscuit profile on the malt. More of the same on the palate, lemongrass and grapefruit pith, bready malt, piney bitterness, floral, smooth, and quite enjoyable.

PACKAGED ON: 03/14/23
Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which also leaves some very nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, guava), pretty nice pineyness like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, guava), pretty nice pineyness like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer.

12oz bottle. Date on label is 'PACKAGED ON: 02/21/23'.
Very pale gold colored body. Slightly cloudy for clarity. One finger of white head reduces back to a skim cap and ring. Leaves behind a partial wall of lacing.
Aroma is faint, but yields malt and hop smells of grapefruit and some tropical fruit.
Taste has a good malt base, but the main flavors are grapefruit and guava. Slight pine bitterness in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Minor tongue burn. Very good carbonation.
Relatively bright fruit flavors, and thirst quenching. Good balance for malts and hops, and sweet and bitter.

Appearance: Mostly clear yellow, ok head.
Smell: Starts with some dank, then citrus rind.
Taste: A little sweetness to start, then a nice citrus bitterness, grapefruit and citrus rind. Prickly carbonation and moderate bitterness.
Overall: A nice IPA, good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Good citrus flavor and feel, another quality beer from Deschutes.

Near clear golden amber with lots of lacing in the tall glass. Sharp and spritzy on the tongue. Lemon and lime aroma This is so fruity you could believe they added grapefruit peel to it. An unfortunate hint of something like chlorine. Very bitter aftertaste with the lingering citrus peel. Drinkable but not very pleasing to my taste. From the 12 oz bottle purchased at the "make your own six-pack" cooler at the supermarket.
