Yellow with substantial haze, 4/5" white head. The yellow glows. Aroma was just not happening, could have sworn you usually get something yeast wise from a hefe.
A little bit of hop citrus vibe, lightly and appropriately done. Wheat component is noticeable as it should. Banana finally comes along that was missing in the aroma. Its a drinkable beer for those into that kind of thing. Does what it does.

Yellow beer, hazy and lazy, good head to it, the yellow is a vibrant kind rather than a straw bmc type color. Aroma was almost nonexistant. Should have something going for it, this is a fragrant style when done right.
Mild hop notes, good citrus tang, very light and yet plenty flavorful. Wheat and banana. Never gonna be my favorite style, but this is a pretty approachable one.
On tap in downtown Portland.

Poured on tap at Deschutes PDX.
A good US hefeweizen effort. Pours with a hazy orange hue, good head, but nothing like the true German mega-foam. Decent lace retention.
Smells of banana, spice, wheat, and not much else. Pretty ordinary.
The palate is pleasant but nothing really shouts exceptional to me. More wheat, some good bready yeast, and more baking spice.
Texture is light, very lean, low grip, average finish. Needs stuffing to really excel. Not body, just flavor intensity and grip.
A good effort, and a very good quaffing beer. I call this chick-beer since every girl I've ever brought here loves it.

On tap at the Portland Pub on 7.28.11.
A - Pours a light, hazy yellow with a large white head. Good retention and lots of lacing left on the glass.
S - Very mild and wheat like. Some mild hoppy citrus pokes through at the end.
T - Very water wheat flavor, not very citrusy on the tongue.
D - Very thin and almost waterlike. Tons of carbonation.
O - Thin and watered down. Not a good showing here.
