Exclusive to the Deschutes fresh pack. Overall, a decent brew. It pours a nice gold and lemony color. Citrus and subtle hops dominate the palate. A decent amount of bitterness on the finish. I don't really get much of the grapefruit it advertises on the can. Definitely worth trying but not anything special that you can't get from most breweries.

Plummeting to the depths of citrus fruits, Deschutes brewers have squeezed until their heart’s content so now they are diving.
Made with generous amounts of grapefruit, Citrus Dive IPA hits the glass with a mildly haze, goldenrod hue, capped off with a creamy and arid froth. As the scent of elevated citrus rolls from the foam, so do bold grassy herbs, pine and subtle tropical fruit. Moderately sweet, the malty underpinning of the ale share toasted grain, light caramel and honey, and the overall suggestion of granola.
A gradual fade of grain sweetness allows for the rise of hops that have their own character of red grapefruit, orange and lemon. As hints of dried pineapple, kiwi and passionfruit add an exotic tropical character, the session is draped in the flavor of ruby red grapefruit juice, equipped with fructose sweetness, tart acidity and bitter pectins that all add balance and intrigue.
Medium bodied but with the drying hop resins, tangy citrus and pithy, peppery bitterness, the dryness of the session is exacerbated. Complex but a little extra bitey, the session is a moment of contemplation as much as it is celebration.

Pours a bright & effervescent gold with a thumb of ivory colored head. Nice head retention & lacing
S: Some citrus, passion fruit, a little mango, fades a bit once warm
T: Tangerine, a little green melon, some dryness up front, also a hint of pineapple & dryness. Passion fruit, guava, dryness & tangerines as this beer warms up. Finishes a little dry, a little juicy with tangerine & passion fruit
MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation, decent balance, carbonation smooths out once warm
Drinkable, but nothing new under the sun here

12oz can of Citrus Dive grapefruit IPA from Deschutes. Pkgd on 06/28/24. Served in a pint glass. Off-clear yellow beer topped with enormous white foam. Pleasing citrus aroma. Flavor has classic American IPA hop bitterness and a decidedly C-hop flavor, more specifically, grapefruit flavor. The grapefruit flavor feels incredibly natural with the hops, but there's clearly some added flavorings here, though maybe not actual juice, maybe just extracted oils.
Not the best grapefruit IPA ever, but a solid contribution and a worthy IPA from Deschutes!

Packaged on 7/3/24, consumed on 10/11/24 - so this one's not optimal, age-wise. Though I did buy the 12-pack just a couple weeks ago, not knowing the born-on date. . . .
A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is hazy but bright golden, with a good 1+ finger of bright-white head on top, which recedes somewhat slowly. Nice overall presentation.
S: Mild nose - citrus (grapefruit) and (surprisingly) grainy malt.
T: First impression - strong bitterness. Feels more like a Session IPA than a "full" IPA. Flavor-wise, I get green, raw hops, mainly of the piney sensation rather than the citrus dive that the name would suggest. Touch of grapefruit peel or pith. That impression is stronger after a few sips and I've become accustomed to the bitterness.
M: As noted above, this one drinks more like a Session IPA, and in that regard I could see this being dangerous - i.e., it goes down too easy. Carbonation is active but fine-bubbled.
O: After a few sips, and my palate has had the chance to get acclimated to that strong bitter finish, this one grows on me. It's an easy drinker, and maybe if it were a little fresher the citrus/grapefruit flavors would've been more pronounced and I would've scored it a little higher.

Enjoyed this as part of an assorted 12-pack of different Fresh Squeezed (like) offerings. Great 6% variety across the board for hot weather drinking.
Pale gold, clear fluid. Kind of unexciting. But a massive head and really fantastic lacing.
Grapefruit, citrus rind, pine, and bready malts on the nose. Pleasant and enticing, but definitely not the beer’s best quality.
Remembering this is a 6% beer, you get a healthy dose of citrus, grassy greens, grapefruit flesh and zest, and some pine resin. Awesome easy drinker on the lake when you want a dose of IPA flavors but are looking for lighter fair.
Spot-on carbonation and teeth-coating goodness. Medium bodied and drinks easy with some wonderful lasting ruby red grapefruit pith.
Not going to wow you in a world of over the top 7-8% IPA bombs. But high quality for what it is, and in line with traditional American IPA characteristics, which is what I would expect from a Fresh Squeezed-adjacent beer.

Citrus Dive pours a golden color, with a long-lasting, lacing, and frothy head. The aroma is weak but has citrus fruit notes. The flavor is filled with citrus flavors, some grapefruit, sweet, and bitter, then with a good feel. Overall, it's a bitter and sweet, fruity IPA.
