Poured from a 12 ounce bottle dated 3-7-24 into a snifter at 49 degrees.
Look- Amber brown, plentiful large visible particulate, tan creamy head, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Bourbon, clove, caramel, orange, between medium and high strength of scent.
Taste- Clove, caramel, orange, bourbon, between medium and high strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, below average carbonation, moderately bitter, mildly creamy, mildly dry finish.
Overall- Amber brown with so much large visible particulate it looked like a snow globe. Bouquet was a complex mix of bourbon, clove, caramel and orange. Flavor followed close to the nose with plenty of complexity and strength. Medium body with moderate bitterness and mild creaminess. Overall this was an interesting, complex and enjoyable beer. I’m not the biggest Old Fashioned fan, but I really appreciated the uniqueness of this well constructed beer.

12oz bottle poured into a pint
A- pours brown in color with a one finger foamy off white head that reduces to a ring
S- citrusy hop notes with a candied orange peel note. Bourbon barrel aging adds a caramel note, as well as oak
T- citrusy hop notes of tangerine with candied orange peel up front. Mid palate brings out the barrels adding oak and caramel as well as a hint of bourbon. The finish gives more candied orange with a bourbon linger
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a warming finish
