Orange color, 1/4" head. Aroma was hop fruity, grapefruit and orange.
Bitterness is bursting, but not the makings of a one dimensional beer, more tangerine hop notes, dry malt bill, pale malts, barely toasted. Its a substantial ipa, and a good, but not great one. Would buy a 6 pack if they bottled it that way. I'm guessing simcoe in this one. Solid stuff.

Orange color, very little head, 100% lace though in a very impressive way. Fruity hop aroma.
Light fruity tang, lots of hops without tons of bitterness. Kind of sweetwateripa-esque. Lighter malt bill than hophenge. I like this more than hophenge. Was very good with the ultimate pub fries with tons of garlic and blue cheese that was so pungent, really brought out the hop flavors even more. This was a massive flavor battle royale.

Nice golden colour with a small, off-white head.
Big, bright orange aroma and a great use of hops.
Lovely, grassy citrus flavour with mild malt. Nice, earthy, pungent bitterness.
Medium body with moderately-high carbonation. Solid.
A really nice IPA with great flavour. On the other hand it is a touch grassy and harsh.

A Bend Brewpub exclusive, apparently coming in at 100 IBUs, according to the Royal Hop Commission of Deschutes Brewery...
This beer pours a cloudy bright golden amber, with one finger of fine foamy eggshell white head, which leaves a solid wash of painted lace around the glass in its short wake. It smells of grapefruit, orange, and pine hops, and caramel cream. The taste is bitter pine hops, caramel/toffee malt, and a middling earthy mustiness. The carbonation is on the soft side, the body medium weight and quite smooth. It finishes off-dry, the bitter mustiness evolving a floral essence.
A fairly bitter, hoppy IPA, yes - but 'screamer'? Perhaps it's my over-exposure to NW IPAs of late that hears this scream as a muffled echo. My foibles aside, a decently drinkable lip-tingler.
