Appearance: Pours a clear copper color with a one finger ecru head; decent persistence and a few streaks hang around
Smell: Cakey malt with strong maple tones; there is also an herbal cocktail aromatic that comes from the Caffee Amaro barrel
Taste: The Caffee Amaro flavor is even stronger on the palate and, when joined with the maple and the cakey malt flavors, we do have a flavor profile here that tastes a bit like a liqueur soaked coffee cake with maple icing
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with low to moderate carbonation; some warmth in the gullet
Overall: I haven't had Caffe Amaro so this review is somewhat speculative but I think this is interesting though the sweetness limits how much you can sip on this
