Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a one finger head that fades to a film and collar; leggy, with speckles dribbling down
Smell: Vanilla cream with a hint of chocolate; the Brandy tones caress rather than dominate
Taste: Vanilla cream with hints of chocolate underneath; the Brandy tones emerge in the mid-palate and and blend in to create the Brandy Alexander effect; a little boozy in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation; some warmth in the gullet
Overall: Deschutes has achieved what it set out to accomplish; haven't had a Brandy Alexander for decades but this brought back memories
