Poured into a 12oz Tear Drop @ Bier Stein
A - Pours a deep garnet w/ ruby highlights and a 1 finger thick tan head that slow fades to a thin cap. Lots of bubbles.
S - Light barnyard smell up front followed by cherries, spicy hop notes, and a light lacticness
T - Sour bite, cherries and lemons, dark fruits, caramel, toasted biscuits, light barnyardiness in the finish, spicy hops.
M - Medium/Light body, dry semi-bitter finish, fizzy carb, and a sour bite
O - Enjoyable, the two beers play well together accept in the finish... the bitterness and sourness leave an odd sensation/taste lingering. Aside from that, the play between sour/spicy/sweet/bitter is enjoyable.

On tap at the Portland Brewpub.
A - Pours a dark orange with a thin light tan head. Solid lacing and poor retention.
S - Malty and some dark fruit.
T - Malts, plums, and metallic.
D - Lower carbonation and medium body.
O - Ok, not what I would call a winner.
