On draught at the public house, Prussian Porter is chicory brown with a small tan head leaving scattered lace.
Smell is sweet malt, a touch of daicetyl. Hint of char as well, almost ashy. Chocolate comes out as it warms.
Taste is pretty complex without being exaggerated. There's sweet, chared and smoked malt flavor with a bit of herbal hops.
Mouthfeel is soft, medium light bodied.
Drinkability is pretty good. I really like the depth of flavors they archived without making it a palate buster. Very smooth and satisfying. Well done.
