Had on tap. Burnt orange body, sudsy white head and thick lacing. Sweet malts with way too many herbal hops meet the robust bready yeast in the nose, too new world for my preferences. Taste is way too hoppy, breadiness is brighter for style, malts are sweeter. While I appreciate the attempt to make a new alt in this modern age, this just feels wrong, like it lost the heart of the style. Feel is hopped and light, thinning out by the finish. Swing and a miss

A - Served a cloudy, dark orange with a light tan head that slowly moves to the edges.
S - Smells very sweet and bready.
T - Malty bread and some light hop citrus-orange finish with a touch of pine in the background.
D - Good carbonation and a medium body.
O - Sweet bread and malt dominated.
