On draught at the brewery. 16 oz. pour served in a tulip glass. Its color is nearly black and it sports a thin, light mocha head and minimal lacing. The smell is sensational! Huge, freshly-brewed coffee, dark chocolate, lactose, brown sugar, and earthy char. Its taste follows with acidic coffee, sweet chocolate, caramel, burnt nuts, and bitter char. It has great depth of flavor. The mouth feel is appropriate for the style with low carbonation, and the 8% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, Morrow is superb! It may be the best coffee-forward Milk Stout I've had the pleasure to drink. Esker Hart should be very proud of this offering.
